Jim Eliason
Chief Financial Officer

Jim Eliason brings 20 years of corporate finance experience to his position of Chief Financial Officer at Desktone. He joined Desktone from Empirix, a privately held, venture-backed provider of testing and monitoring tools for voice and data applications. As CFO for Empirix, he directed finance, IT, HR, facilities and legal functions, as well as operations.

Prior to Empirix, Eliason was CFO for Narad Networks, a telecommunications provider of broadband solutions to cable operators, where he helped raise more than $30 million of venture capital over two rounds of financing as part of a re-start team. Earlier, Eliason was Vice President of Finance for SilverStream Software, a provider of web application platform software, where he was involved in the company's IPO and secondary offering, raising over $250M and concluding with an acquisition by Novell.

Eliason held the position of Corporate Controller for Concentra Corporation, an international manufacturer of configuration software, until the company's acquisition by Oracle. He also held manager level positions at MatrixOne, provider of business-to-business internet collaboration solutions, and at Arthur Andersen.

Eliason holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Bentley College and a B.S. in Accounting from Providence College. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Massachusetts.
