DaaS Pilot

The new Desktone Desktops as a Service (DaaS) Pilot helps enterprises easily evaluate the benefits of consuming virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) as a service and experience exactly how it could work in their environment. Enterprises use their own images and applications in a 30-day proof-of-concept that includes up to 50 virtual desktops. Desktone uses its proven DaaS best practices to jump-start the pilot, enabling customers to quickly ramp up. The Desktone DaaS Pilot utilizes the Desktone Virtual-D Platform. The physical infrastructure powering the platform for this Pilot is hosted by HP Flexible Computing Services, one of Desktone's service provider partners. The Desktone DaaS Pilot is available as of October 1, 2008.
