Virtual Desktop Hosting Infrastructure Management for Service Providers

The Desktone Virtual-D Service Center is a web-based management interface for the service provider operator. A peer to the Virtual-D Enterprise Center, it is designed to enable service providers to support multiple customers on a shared, multi-site virtual desktop hosting infrastructure and deliver on defined service level agreements.

The Virtual-D Service Center provides:

• Multi-tenant and multi-data center management: Offers service providers unified management of multiple enterprises across a grid of Desktone Elements that spans numerous data centers in disparate geographies.
• Service Grid capacity management, orchestration, configuration and monitoring: Through the Service Center, a service provider operator can provision, manage and decommission Element and Access Fabric nodes; assign virtual desktop hosting capacity to enterprises; catalog tenant network addressing and configuration; delegate administrative scope, roles and permissions; and monitor service availability in order to deliver on SLAs.
